On the 19th of January occured the first Neurofeedback’s national day at the Brain and Spine Institut in Paris.
The purpose of this day was to gather neurofeedback’s specialists, EEG or MRI scientists and clinicians to present major technical breakthroughs and challenges in neurofeedback, the benefits of the technique and its applications in several pathologies.
The neurofeedback is a brain training method that helps regulate and normalize the neuronal activity (i.e. specific types of brain wave oscillations) in specific regions of the brain. A real-time feedback on the neuromarker to be trained is returned to the subject to teach him real-time regulation of brain activity through operant conditioning.
